Well-calculated folds allow the mass to bend while preventing it from collapsing. For example, the folds of a paper fan spread out in one direction, and remain rigid in the opposite direction, moving the air. 4CCCCEES Jabara Coil Oreo's outsole took its shape from the ‘concertina pleat’ with added direction, allowing flexibility in the vertical direction of the shoe while maintaining the solidity of the overall mass. The unique uneven texture, designed with consideration of the direction of pressure when walking, completes the eccentric design.
The polyurethane top layer is lightweight and has excellent elasticity, and the bottom layer made of thermoplastic polyurethane has substantial durability and slip-resistance. Three distinctive uppers are set on slight heels; 35mm with a 20mm platform, for just the right amount of lift.
